Paul Rudd, Jason Segel, Jon Favreau, Andy Samberg. Need I say more? “I Love You, Man” is funny. Seriously. Alecia and I saw the flick after we had covered the premiere just a few days earlier, and could not stop laughing. Granted, could’ve gone without seeing the projectile vomiting and graphic billboards, but I suppose that added to the humor.
Oh yeah, back to the premiere. I’ve always thought Andy Samberg was funny, but I discovered that day that he is super humble. When asked what his secret to success was, he wasn’t cocky and all, and seemed genuine when he responded that he “just wants to enjoy the moment.” Fun fact: he used to be a writer for the MTV Movie Awards. He’s now hosting them come June. Aww.
What else? Hmmm. Ah, Jason Segel. Jason seemed to be a big fan of Alecia’s, making eye contact with her a few times before their interview even started. Needless to say, I was thoroughly amused when he introduced Alecia to the camera as “my future wife.” He proposed to her, they made plans for their future, it was well…fabulous. Jason, if you’re reading this, please call Alecia soon – many wedding details need to be worked out.
Oh most…interesting/gross moment on the carpet? Well, let’s just say… Paul Rudd will NEVER forget Hollywood 411 reporter Alecia Davis.
Just watch Alecia oh, about 40 seconds in, in this next clip.
