Samia co-coined the term “instacurity” and in 2013, co-launched a social media movement to comedically address society’s obsession with their internet selves through tweets, memes, YouTube sketches and more. She wrote, produced and appeared in more than a dozen videos.
The project has been featured by TIME Magazine, Mashable, Upworthy, Huffington Post, RyanSeacrest.com, Good Morning America, and more. Supporters include such influencers as Joel Stein, Baratunde Thurston, and Issa Rae.
