Samia Khan is, well first off, an absolutely talented writer (I mean, she’s writing this entry in the third person… that my friends, takes skill.)
No but in all seriousness, she’s an aspiring conversationalist. What that means? Well – let’s ask Merriam Webster.
She’s dabbled in local television news reporting, hosted a college game show, produced and reported for network entertainment television, written for various publications, in her free time is willing to go up to strangers and ask them ridiculous things, and is here taking on the blog world in attempt to connect with the masses. Ideal job? Panelist on “The View,” or well, any other job where you get paid to talk (and of course, write and be creative as well.) She loves covering music, features, and human-interest stories (she had subjects crying in 5 consecutive stories over a few week period while reporting in Bakersfield,) but wouldn’t mind exploring the business and technology world. As long as it involves people, conversation, story telling, adventure, learning… she’s game.
